About this archive

A place to stay.
A reason to explore.

Some of the richest experiences lie beyond the usual destinations. We imagined a way to help people discover them.

Terri Torri Ventures brought together modular cabin design, small-scale innkeeping and local experiences. The ambition was global: make rural hospitality more accessible, and create more opportunities for the people who call these places home.

The cabin was the starting point.
The community was the reason.

01

Stay closer.

Compact places to stay that connect guests with the landscape and the character of a place.

02

Explore locally.

Food, culture, farms, guides and experiences that make a journey worth taking.

03

Keep value local.

A model intended to connect visitor spending with local innkeepers, producers and small businesses.

Small spaces.
A world outside.

The flat-pack cabin idea was a starting point for thoughtful rural stays. The focus was the guest experience: a comfortable retreat, a connection to the outdoors, and a reason to explore nearby.

Southeast Asia / Regional vision

A quieter way to discover.

A small retreat in the landscape, with the wider destination at its doorstep. The regional vision connected places to stay with local food, nature and community experiences.

The experience continues beyond the cabin.

Hospitality works better
when it works together.

The original concept connected physical spaces, day-to-day operations and the guest journey. Each part was designed to support the others.

01PLUG-INNThe physical space

The cabin concept: compact places to stay, designed to be brought together as small, locally managed inns. The emphasis was on a comfortable guest experience connected to the surrounding landscape.
