The destination
starts with people.

The early project materials included ASEAN within a wider vision for rural and community tourism.

For Terri Torri Ventures, the opportunity was to bring accommodation closer to the places visitors wanted to experience. A small inn could become a base for discovering nearby food, local producers and the character of a community.

The proposed approach combined modular cabins with practical innkeeping and a digital connection to local experiences. Each destination would shape the guest experience and the role of local businesses.

Malaysia was a specific focus within this Southeast Asian vision. The regional ambition shown here is preserved as a concept, rather than a record of a network of operating properties.

A stay that opens
onto the wider place.

The cabin offered a place to arrive. The surrounding community gave visitors reasons to explore, spend time and return. These ideas guided the proposed regional model.

    Compact hospitality intended to complement a rural setting, with a sense of welcome that grows from the destination itself.

    A connection to local businesses

    Opportunities for independent innkeepers, food businesses, guides and producers to participate in the visitor journey.

    Discovery beyond the room

    A proposed travel platform linking accommodation with nearby experiences and useful services, helping visitors engage with more of the place around them.

Terri Torri Ventures is currently inactive. This portfolio keeps its rural hospitality vision available for future conversations. Malaysia offers a closer look at the Southeast Asian focus; Japan follows a separate country story centred on Yamanashi.
