01 / The Malaysia focusCommunity & destination

A reason to stay.
A place to discover.

Malaysia gave the wider Southeast Asian vision a specific local setting.

The early project materials explored Sekinchan, Desaru in Johor, Kampung Batu Kecil in Penang and Pulau Duyong Besar in Terengganu. Paddy landscapes, coastlines and village settings formed part of a concept in which the surrounding place mattered as much as the room itself.

The intention was to connect small-scale hospitality with local businesses. A stay could open into nearby food, produce, guides and experiences, helping visitors discover what makes a community distinctive.

These were destination and concept studies. They are preserved as part of Terri Torri Ventures' work, without representing completed hotels or current operations.

02 / The local connectionHospitality that looks outward

More of the place.
More reasons to explore.

The Malaysia concept imagined a visitor experience connected to the life already around it. The proposed cabin stay was a starting point for local discovery.
